staging: Friday before show: 4.30pm - 8pm if you wish to stage on friday evening

  SECTION I: PHOTOGRAPHY

  Photographs may be mounted or not mounted, colour or black & white and must not exceed 8"x6". All exhibits in the Handicraft & Photography Section should be the sole work of the exhibitor and have not won at any previous show of this Society  
  EASTER BISCUITS (to be used for class 117  
  100g butter, 75g caster sugar, 1 egg separated, 1 lemon (zest only), 200g plain flower

50g currants, 1-2 Tbsp milk, caster sugar for dusting

set oven at 200C

1. cream butter and sugar together, add yolk and zest

2. add sifted flour and mix well

3. stir in currants and enough milk to make a soft dough

4. knead, roll out to 5mm thick, cut into rounds with a fluted cutter

5. bake for 8 minutes

6. brush with egg white, sprinkle with caster sugar, bake for a further 5 minutes
