Welcome to The Ancient Society of York Florists

(a Society for the Amateur Gardener, Grower & Exhibitor

of Fruit, Flowers & Vegetables, Floral Art, Handicrafts & Baking)

we hold the record for 'worlds longest running horticultural show - established 1768'

I'm sure everyone will agree that the first show held in the new venue yesterday was a huge success. Plenty of good quality exhibits; new exhibitors and many people coming through the door to see the flowers. A big thank you to all the people who help on the day and behind the scenes to enable the show to function. Also thanks to everyone who managed to get an entry on the benches, so that we had a fantastic show.

PLEASE NOTE: We have moved venue from Askham Bryan College to the Recreation Hall, The Village, Wigginton YO32 2LL.  ALL SHOWS will be held there in 2017.
